Program Overview
What is the Referral Marketing Program?
The Referral Marketing Program (RMP) is a new method developed by APEX Media
Solutions for marketing our services. The program utilizes the people in our
network of personal contacts for generating sales leads, and subsequently, pays
them commissions for the project work we perform that results from their
referrals.
In today’s business community, personal referrals are by far the best resource
for establishing solid business contacts. The high success rate of this approach
to acquiring new business stems from the fact that people are inundated with
sales input, and they would much rather deal with a resource that isn’t a total
stranger – someone who possesses a framework of credibility.
Over the years, a large percentage of work we have performed at APEX Media
Solutions has been generated from the referrals of friends, associates and
clients. We have found the sales process through referrals to be a much easier
task, and definitely, the most efficient use of our marketing efforts. And
because of this benefit to APEX, the program involves the payment of commission
to those supplying referrals.

APEX Media Solutions provides creative solutions for the communication needs of
organizations. Using the tools of video, multimedia, internet, print and audio,
we can offer solutions for a wide range of communication needs – encompassing
training, orientation, promotion and advertising. Typically, we target
organizations that are in the $5 to 50 M sales brackets. However, our services
can be used by almost any organization.
Some Questions and Answers About the Program
How do I participate in the program?
It’s very simple. All you have to do is complete the
Online Submission
Form and we do the rest. When project work results from your referral, you
receive a commission check once APEX is paid.
How will APEX approach the people that I provide as
contacts?
We will take great care to ensure the contact is left with a positive,
professional impression of APEX. The sales process will start with a letter of
introduction, in which we state that their name was given to us by you. They
will also receive a brochure on APEX which features an overview of our services.
The introductory letter will mention that within the next week or so, we will
give them a call to better acquaint them with our services. We will then contact
them and explain our services and request a meeting to further discuss the
application of our services by their organization. Please be secure in knowing
that we are striving to achieve mutually beneficial relationships – and will
treat the contact as we would like to be treated ourselves. Our goal is to
connect with organizations that truly require and welcome our services.
How are commissions paid?
When we quote a project, we delineate all the internal and external costs
involved. We then mark-up this amount for a buffer margin. From this total of
costs and buffer margin, the 5% sales commission is calculated. When the project
is completed and the final payment is received, we then process the commission
check to the referral source.
What about taxes?
No taxes are withheld from the commission payments. At the end of the year, if
your commissions total $500 or more, we will send you a
W9
Form - Request for Taxpayer ID Number. Then, we will issue a 1099 form
for your reference in preparing your personal income tax returns.
